ok but unfinnished submitted by pamelawright on August 17, 2020, 10:45am It sounds fun, but when we got it, we didn't get all the chords we needed. Couldn't figure it out and didn't use it at all. Should come with the chords in the box not separated.

Classic submitted by jibkidder on June 16, 2022, 8:02am You be shocked to know what famous vocal performances were captured on this thing. At least that's what I'm told in TapeOp. The standard live vocal mic because it minimizes background noise, the SM58beta captures more high frequencies which can be an improvement for some vocalists.

I'm triple shure!!! submitted by Dan Bonenberger on July 8, 2025, 8:55am The SM58 is a great mic for vocals - designed to capture singing or speaking at high fidelity while minimizing background noise, wind, and "pops" from Bs and Ps. It's been around since the mid-1960s and is widely trusted by professional vocalists. Next time you are watching a live performance or video have a look; odds are you'll see this iconic ice cream cone-shaped mic with a single scoop on top. Pretty sweet that you can just borrow one (or an extra one) from the library. BTW, I’m pretty shure that AADL’s SM58 doesn’t have an on-off switch. This handy feature is denoted SM58S. -djb

No available cord connection submitted by katemcdonald1215 on October 17, 2025, 10:04am The mic doesnt come with a cord for plugging into an amplifier (Three-pin professional audio (XLR), male), and the library doesn't offer a cord that is compatible with this mic making it unusable.

We offer Three-pin XLR M to F in 20 foot and 50 foot lengths, as well as Three-pin XLR M to 1/4" TRS M. You can find them in the "accessories you may need field" in this catalog record, that you would have had to scroll past in order to get to the reviews.
