Love this movie submitted by Lmd3577 on June 30, 2012, 4:09am I really love Scott Pilgram because it is a very imaginative movie that really looks like it is a live action graphic novel come to life. Micheal cena is one of my faveroite actors and he really brings to life the character of Scott and his life in Toronto. So if you are looking for a fast pased movie with a good amount of humor this is the one for you.

Edgar Wright rocks submitted by wendylv on June 18, 2017, 6:34am Directed by Edgar Wright and featuring many actors who have since become very well known (Brie Larson, Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Chris Evans), this movie is a gem. The storyline is clever but the video-game special effects set this movie apart and appeal to the nostalgia of anyone who grew up playing arcade games. Highly recommended!!!

Great Movie submitted by timdufresne on July 9, 2018, 5:19pm Edgar Wright is an incredible filmmaker who uses licensed music, probably better than anyone. You can see the seeds of what made Baby Driver so great in this film (though I think this film is better overall). Great movie, lots of fun!

Fun and original submitted by brooksza on July 25, 2022, 3:53pm Rewatched this videogame as a movie. Effective visuals and a good story told like a game. I basically know the real life version of the Chris Evans character.

Highlight was the fight with Routh's character, for many reasons.

There are some really clever lines in this too and it seems very rewatchable.

Doesn’t follow the book but great film! submitted by timbresson on July 16, 2024, 7:41am The book is a six part series and it’s just not feasible to put all the plot points into a movie. However the journey of Scott in the book is much more maturing and revealing… the movie Scott is more just about beating the “baddies”. I’m glad it exist though since it invites people in to O’Malley’s goofy world (and also has a banging soundtrack!)

Flawed and Fabulous submitted by cherylo on August 7, 2024, 7:27am Scott Pilgrim as realized in this movie is a jerk. He's not someone to admire, yet at least, but he does grow. The reason to watch this movie is for the amazing bonkers world it sets up and serves full of demon backup dancers, semi mystical gamer glorification, and vegans with mind powers. Not to mention hysterically funny performances by a stellar and star-studded cast and a great soundtrack.
If it turns out to be your kind of thing, make sure to check out the Netflix animated sequel series. It makes it even better.
