Some Like it Hot blu-ray submitted by a2sue on July 21, 2019, 6:39am The blu-ray of Some Like it Hot is really silly! Seeing the male leads in drag was pretty funny, but the storyline was extremely far-fetched. Still enjoyable though!

Maybe the best comedy of all time submitted by Will O on August 26, 2020, 9:36am This works so well as a comedy because there's the undercurrent of darkness. In most movies the premise would be two guys are out of work and dress as women but that's where the joke would end. Only Billy Wilder would have the two out of work guys witness a mob murder.
Marilyn Monroe is sublime and brings such a depth and world weary wounded realness to Sugar. She's very underrated as an actress and does an incredibly great job here.
Of course Tony Curtis and Jack Lemon are phenomenal and hilarious in their duel roles.
This movie is far ahead of its time and is one of the best comedies ever made bar none.
Plus half a star just for the best ending of all time.
