OK submitted by mandevil on November 27, 2017, 2:08pm The story was an interesting and touching one but the film could have used better writing, better character development.

Beautiful submitted by ginarae3 on July 1, 2018, 7:11pm This film was done very well. It's a very touching true story that will bring tears to your eyes in more ways than one. I liked the way the flashbacks were used. Great acting.

Unforgettable submitted by schweiml on July 6, 2023, 8:34pm This is one of the best films I’ve seen in a long time. Dev Patel does a phenomenal job but the standout to me was Sunny Pawar, who plays Patel’s character when he was a child. This kid was phenomenal and his portrayal of young Saroo was unforgettable. The story itself is incredible and a testament to the power of technology in helping people connect. I’ve made several others watch this movie as well and not a single bad review in the bunch. Go watch this!

Lion. submitted by yufamily on August 18, 2023, 11:41am It’s a sweet story where a boy finds his way home to India after 25 years. Dev Patel is great.
