One of the all time greats submitted by juanc01 on July 12, 2014, 8:51pm And the opener, where the streets have no name, is transcendent.
The Joshua tree submitted by VickyB77 on August 12, 2015, 3:53pm It's a great album, don't get me wrong. But I almost feel like it's been TOO hyped, that it kind of kills it. Slightly disappointing...
One of my favorites

Well worth a listen. 90% of the songs are excellent. Track two is most popular. Three was also popular.

U2 - The Joshua Tree submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 14, 2016, 3:31am One of my favorite albums of all time. Discovering the songs beyond the hit singles I already knew was a great delight. There is a lot of energy, poetry, and power on this album. "Running To Stand Still" is a haunting elegy. "In God's Country" is a scathing song wrapped in a pop-rock sound. "Mothers Of The Disappeared" is very moving and borderline creepy. Truly great work.
energetic and powerful submitted by annabanana11 on August 31, 2018, 10:22pm a very representative album for one of the best bands of our time

Beneath the Surface submitted by jibkidder on June 12, 2022, 6:53pm Some Metal producer in Tape Op once said something to the effect of "people are going to hate me for this, but I'm certain there is an amazing ambient album hidden beneath The Joshua Tree".
Great album submitted by suprana on August 1, 2023, 10:50am Fantastic album that really highlights the style of U2
Absolute classic submitted by kristy211 on July 10, 2024, 12:23pm U2 is an incredible band. This album sold millions of copies. The songs captured a sense of place and time of America in the 1980s as told through through the eyes of an Irish band.
