Guardians of the Galaxy 2 submitted by PizzaPuppy on September 21, 2017, 11:31am Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hit theaters on May 5th and has already taken in more than $500 million dollars in the worldwide box office. The popular film is another in a long list of movies that take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, inhabited by popular characters such as Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk and other characters in the Avengers, as well as the more recent additions which include Ant-Man and Dr. Strange.

In addition to the first movie, the Blu-ray edition of Vol. 1, and the awesome soundtrack, we have plenty of materials to help satisfy your Guardians of the Galaxy craving.

For kids, we have the picture book Night Night Groot as well as the comic book Guardians of the Galaxy: Beginnings.

For teens, we have many different comic trade paperbacks, including Guardians of the Galaxy: Prelude (an official Marvel Cinematic Universe tie-in), Vol. 3 of the War of Kings and Legendary Star-Lord Vol. 1: Face It, I Rule. We could just watch them spend a day in New York City and it would be a great movie. But this movie happens out in space and it is gorgeous, the characters go on physical and emotional journeys and of course, hilarity ensues

It felt like there was too much focus given to the comedy aspect and to little to the plot. It is probably my least favorite of all the Marvel movies.

Return of the Guardians submitted by Meginator on July 1, 2018, 10:14pm The Guardians of the Galaxy return in this fast-paced sequel that somehow manages to maintain the irreverent tone of the first film while continuing to develop the main characters and their relationships to one another. Though a few plot elements seem unnecessarily crammed in, the story has a deep emotional core while providing the madcap antics that characterized the first film. This is a worthy follow-up.

Good fun submitted by Zekicmom on July 25, 2018, 5:25pm Although the film seemed to drag a bit once in a while, overall it was very enjoyable with lots of action, humor, and some interesting new characters. My favorite parts were when there were references to Earth culture. Be sure to watch until the very end of the credits!

I love the character development in these films which is what some of the other newer Marvel movie characters are really missing. This is definitely one of my favorite MCU movies, I just wish it wasn't so violent so I could watch it with my son.
