Interesting submitted by jcottey on July 16, 2018, 12:07pm Great acting. Good character development. The story is told in flashbacks and interviews with the police about a death at an evening school function. Who has died and what happened to them is revealed in the final episode. Once that information was revealed, I found the police interviews didn’t fit what happened, in my opinion. They seemed meant to mislead the viewer about what had happened. The series was interesting, but I wouldn’t advise people to run out and watch it immediately.

Outstanding! submitted by MH17 on August 16, 2019, 4:37pm Outstanding performances by Kidman, Witherspoon, Kravitz and Dern make this a strong mini-series. Beautiful direction and editing and a well-chosen soundtrack compliment the suspenseful plot. Some laughs along the way, satirizing elites, helicopter parents.

Haven’t read the book submitted by ilenekroll on August 19, 2021, 3:16pm I didn’t read the book so I cannot compare but the cast is quite the ensemble. I really liked it.
