Spectacular submitted by kkachado on January 26, 2011, 7:31am I can't believe I am the first to write about this wonderful movie.

First I have to say that this is Claire Danes at her acting finest. You forget it is her within the first 5 seconds of the movie. She is spectacular.

Kudos to Temple for sharing her insight, wisdom and visions. Truly a remarkable woman.

This is a must see - a good family movie too, but with older children not young ones. The scenes at the slaughter house are not gruesome but might need some explaining. Younger children might not understand a lot of the movie and may not understand the outbursts by the Temple character.

Lovely insight submitted by bchapman630 on July 25, 2013, 7:48am Absolutely wonderful. I love Dr. Grandin's books and this movie just personifies her so well. She's a fantastic woman, full of life, wisdom and achievement. Thank you Temple Grandin and Thank you Claire Danes!

wow submitted by isaacbrooks on July 30, 2013, 6:35pm Inspiring

Inspiring submitted by valerieclaires on August 18, 2014, 1:25pm Temple Grandin is a name that comes up a lot in the autism community. Her story is inspiring, and Claire Danes conveys the character wonderfully. It just seems like Temple on the screen, not an actress at all. Just as kkachado said, this would be a good family movie to watch with older children. Even though the inhumane slaughter of animals inspired Temple's work to make animal treatment better, it's not somethig you'd want young children to see.

Good movie submitted by cindyannoconnor on July 1, 2017, 1:51pm I enjoyed seeing inside the world of someone with autism. Well acted and engaging story.

Inspirational submitted by crp on August 12, 2019, 9:56pm Based off a true story, this is captivating and inspirational
