This graphic novel / memoir provides insights into the lives of anti-war Japanese people in Hiroshima, struggling to maintain dignity in the face of cruelty (on top of the misery and privation everyone else also suffered).

This volume of Barefoot Gen details the events leading up to and immediately following the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. There are 10 volumes in the series, but AADL only owns the first 4. The rest can be requested through MEL.
