COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Complicated but good submitted by shadowsword88 on June 21, 2012, 12:49pm I loved listening to this book on CD. There were lots of interesting characters and the plot was really good. A little complicated for my younger brother but in the end, the whole family liked it.

Good submitted by anupamap on August 27, 2019, 11:29am Great story, good lesson. Not very predictable.
Satisfying audiobook submitted by A2AE on July 19, 2021, 7:45pm We enjoyed listening to this on a recent car trip, and the author does a wonderful job tying in lots of backstories from the main characters (going back several generations for three characters). Once we finished we also enjoyed watching the movie version, a faithful adaptation written by the author of the book.
Classic and Highly Recommend Read submitted by LuckyDucky10 on July 10, 2023, 8:08pm This was one of my favorite books as a kid and is something that I am now passing on to younger family members who also love it!
