Not great, in fact it was bad submitted by gabvea on July 17, 2023, 5:39am I wanted to check this out after reading the book it's based on. The pacing is bad and it's not captivating. It's different than the book to a fault. They tried so hard to hit certain beats in the story line instead of telling a well-rounded mystery/thriller/drama. I think I would describe the show as a connect-a-dot drawing when it could've been a painting of the story in a different medium. It felt rushed and off-putting. I could not get past the episodes covering what happened in the book, I did not think it would be worth it.
