so adorable submitted by manz on January 10, 2012, 5:33pm A totally endearing little graphic novel. A cupcake and an eggplant are BFFs. One owns a bakery and one heads off on a trip to Turkey and meets the world renowned chef Turkish Delight.

My heart skipped a beat for these anthropomorphic fruits and veggies, as they ate grilled cheese sandwiches and played in a marching band. It's too delightful.

If you like this, make sure you read Varon's "Robot Dreams."

cute, not terribly substantial. like a cupcake! submitted by Sara W on August 20, 2015, 3:53pm I was drawn in by the adorable illustrations - I really admired the artist's style and visual storytelling. But the story just didn't really do it for me, It was cuter than it was meaningful for me, and the characters never really became anything other than food with feet for me. Disappointed I didn't like it more, but worth browsing for the charming illustrations.
