Food Lover's - the perfect graphic novel for you submitted by goreygirl on June 15, 2013, 12:24pm A new publishing wave in graphic novels continues with the delightful and well done book RELISH. Fans of the Oishinbo manga, or The Dirt Candy Cookbook will delight in this food, comic memoir.

interesting format for the content submitted by camelsamba on June 19, 2014, 1:00pm The graphic novel format is what makes this interesting - as a more conventional narrative it would have been fairly ordinary (in my opinion, at least).

Picked it up... submitted by Kikumatsu97 on August 10, 2014, 11:41am put it down a lot. I don't know, I guess it just didn't take me anywhere I really wanted to be. That's hard to do, but I have come to even expect that from a graphic novel.

The art of /in cooking? submitted by jessiesummers on June 13, 2024, 2:22pm Easy read for when you feel like cooking … but probably won’t commit to it. Reads in the same voice/style of Knisley’s other autobiographical books, with some recipes thrown in. I think they’re fun to read but I agree with the other reviews that they don’t challenge you to really “arrive” anywhere - it’s just a nice walk with the author through some experiences she’s had. It’s a cute read!
