hard to understand submitted by Jackie77 on August 25, 2015, 9:30am I did not like this album. Alot of the beats sound the same. Hard to understand the lyrics through all the screaming.

An Important Artifact from the W Era submitted by Meginator on June 24, 2023, 9:49pm This is a pop-punk concept album that captures a lot of the anger, uncertainty, and frustration of coming of age during the second Bush era; the band accomplishes this both literally (see the title track) and figuratively, with some surprising depth in the lyrics. The album has an incredible run of singles that hook you from the first notes, and the supporting tracks are equally catchy and effective, fitting neatly between pop and punk to capture the former’s broad appeal and the latter’s frenetic, angry energy. The quality is incredibly high from top to bottom, and while the singles still show up frequently on the radio and “best of” playlists, the album also works really well as a single unit. This is at once a time capsule and timeless, a kind of lightning in a bottle album that captured something unique about the era of its creation.
