"Captain Marvel, Earth's Mightiest Hero with an attitude to match, is launching headfirst into an all-new adventure! As Carol Danvers comes to a crossroads with a new life and new romance, she makes a dramatic decision that will alter the course of her life-- and the entire Marvel Universe. But as Carol takes on a mission to return an alien girl to her homeworld, she lands in the middle of an uprising against the Galactic Alliance and the Spartax! Investigating the forced resettlement of Rocket Girl's people, Carol discovers she has a history with the man behind the plot. But when the bad guy tries to blackmail [her] and turn the Avengers against her, it's payback time!"--Page 4 of cover.

COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great! submitted by anacoluthon on June 18, 2019, 12:00am Marvel constantly relaunching their titles is getting a little confusing (I initially confused this with the /other/ volume 1 from 2012), but Captain Marvel's solo title is still a blast! Kelly Sue DeConnick does a great job with the character.

no more ms marvel submitted by Zaneeba on June 19, 2019, 8:01am i liked this book. it was a huge upgrade fom ms marvel

A great book submitted by SaraP on August 5, 2022, 12:22pm Kelly Sue Deconnick is a fantastic writer and this book set the stage for the creation of the movie. It's really well done w/ some good feminist undertones.
