"When a little girl finds an adorable robot in the woods, she presses a button and accidentally activates him for the first time. Now, she finally has a friend. But the big, bad robots are coming to collect the little guy for nefarious purposes, and it's all up to a five-year-old armed only with a wrench and a fierce loyalty to her mechanical friend to save the day!" -- provided by publisher.

Superb submitted by Spandanakilari on July 23, 2017, 12:27am Good one
Great illustrations submitted by Zekicmom on August 2, 2017, 3:50pm I thought I was going to love this book based on all the hype, but I kind of didn't. The illustrations are great and each one can stand alone as a piece of art, but the story itself didn't do it for me.
:) submitted by Xris on June 16, 2018, 7:42pm Glad the Summer Game introduced me to this book!
Cute, but submitted by FordAlpha on July 19, 2018, 11:14pm Hatke's artwork is great, but the story wasn't really satisfying, as it turns out to be more the work of an unbelievably miracle-working little repair bot that saves the day, rather than the little girl's ingenuity. And the audience for this book isn't really clear. It's mostly wordless, so it's not a read-aloud kind of book. It's too long and complex for young kids to grasp on their own, even if they enjoy looking at the pictures. And the very young protagonist and quiet, wordless vibe made it not very interesting to my older graphic-novel-loving kid.

Little Robot submitted by VanCancue on August 24, 2021, 12:11am a little girl saves her robot from the bad guys. Its mostly a picture book. Allows for the kids to explore the story on their own.
