Excelleny submitted by steveiew on June 15, 2018, 2:51pm What's different about this book is that it is told from other perspectives besides Darrow's. I really liked that Ephraim was mentioned in Morning Star! I love watching each character's story unfold as they merge together to tell one story. It is another great book in the Red Rising series.

Strong Continuation submitted by thedukeofparma on June 28, 2019, 10:19am While in the same vein as the other Red Rising books, this book seemed more complex. The writing was stronger and deeper. The author also based the story around four different characters, with different chapters being told from one of those perspectives (in first person). All in all, this new book doesn't fall short of the high bar set by the first trilogy and comes across as a natural, engaging continuation of the story.

Still going strong submitted by cpoconno on August 21, 2023, 3:11pm Sometimes series start to fall off the rails and this one is still true to the story. The characters are fairly weel developed and identifiable.
