Not like the other Thor movies submitted by SurfGrape on June 17, 2018, 11:04am In tone, this movie was more like "Guardians of the Galaxy" than "Thor" or "Thor: Dark World." It's lighthearted, funny at times, rather campy. I found the contrast with the other Thor movies quite jarring!

The familial strife continues submitted by gxtan on August 24, 2018, 9:58am In the latest Thor movie, Thor and Loki continue their on again/off again alliance/feud, which is complicated even more by a new arrival. It's flashier and more colorful than previous installments of Thor's adventures, and yes, some of the jokes are kind of dumb, but the movie has its moments and is a worthy addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

AMAZING FUN submitted by nsvinicki on August 26, 2018, 10:29am This is one film where you definitely don't need to have seen any of the other MCU movies to understand and enjoy. This movie reaffirmed my love of MCU. Taika Waititi struck gold with his racous combination of 80's music and visuals with current pop culture references and off-beat humor. The film makes up for the extremely lackluster second Thor film "Dark World". Everything about this was good - the characterizations, the story details, the humor and the action. I had so much fun with this film and was so engaged by the visuals and the story that I actually watched it with the director's commentary. This was HILARIOUS and definitely worth it. Waititi is amazing and I love his work. I hope to see more like this from him!
