COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Huh? submitted by profgoddess on June 21, 2018, 11:03pm This movie was not what I expected, and not in a good way. It took many strange turns and ended far from the description on the back of the DVD!

Bigger Ideas than You'd Expect submitted by krogers on July 22, 2018, 5:22pm This movie comes out of left field - not at all what you might expect from the jacket or previews, but somewhere in the middle it transitions from "worth watching" to "must see." Starts with a strange premise, but grapples with important issues that apply to the real world.

Um... submitted by markwells on August 5, 2018, 8:01am Uh... Yeah. I was looking forward to a cute movie about the adventures that would come with being small. I wanted this movie to be that gimmicky fun type where you could imagine the fun and danger you would face. I thought there would be a lot of thrills, chills, and laughs. Somewhere in the middle this movie morphed into something completely different. It became a voice for social issues and heavier important stuff. The fun was over and you realized that there was no real reason for the whole getting small aspect. This movie could have been done with no one getting small. In short I was disappointed. "Honey I shrunk the kids" was light and fluffy but at least it was fun. Grade: C-.

Not As Advertised submitted by majean on August 9, 2018, 5:22pm This was a good movie, but it wasn't the comedy it was billed as. It actually gets pretty heavy really quickly. I enjoyed it, especially Hong Chau's amazing performance, but my husband felt like the film wasted his time without resolution.

More sad than funny submitted by lstorc on August 28, 2018, 1:36am This was sad, but a unique quasi dystopian story. It's bizarre, but worth the watch.
