A tough but powerful read submitted by Jinxyluis on July 23, 2018, 11:18am This is a really moving story, and Marvin's voice was the power behind that. It's a small and big story simultaneously, only a few characters but big themes and a lot to grapple with.
Amazing submitted by sydcha on August 4, 2019, 8:57pm Taking on gun and police violence, both themes that need more exposure, this book is heartbreakingly beautiful. The characters feel real by the end, and I found myself crying more than once. Read this book, and you won’t regret the experience.
