King T'Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne from divisions within his own country. When two enemies conspire to destroy Wakanda, the hero known as Black Panther must join forces with C.I.A. agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Wakandan Special Forces, to prevent Wakanda from being drawn into a world war.

It wasn’t a save the public kind of movie but preserve the tribe, but superheroes need to start somewhere. I was expecting more with all the great reviews.

It concerns on family and culture but still incorporates a villains, battles and heroics. I think it is especially good for those who want the background of Black Panther. Packed with action.

Best MCU movie submitted by nsvinicki on August 26, 2018, 10:38am Everything about this movie was perfect, and it's by far my favorite MCU film. There wasn't a single thing I'd change or was disappointing about it. We've been hinted at about Wakanda for three movies in the MCU, and finally seeing it and the culture was a revelation. The film is packed with beautiful symbology, and is an emotional love letter to African culture and it's people. It's moving in even the simplest of scenes, most often because it's like nothing I've ever seen in Hollywood-produced films. This is what our world could be, and I'm SO here for it! I hope this film shows Hollywood that full casts of people of color are what moviegoers want!

Other than that, this is a fantastic movie! Top notch actors and acting, beautiful visuals, amazing costuming. Absolutely worth the watch. Just don't expect it to be the best thing ever!

The music adds to the film as well as the wicked scenery and CGI. T'Challa and his sister Shuri have quickly become my favorite superhero siblings.
