It's Not Great submitted by timdufresne on July 24, 2018, 5:22pm The concept of a Clinton-Patterson team up makes this book a curiosity, but neither of these excellent writers seem to be bringing their A-Game. The plot is tiresome and surprisingly uninteresting, the twists were too predictable, and while the stakes were high, I just didn't care about the characters. I'd really love to see this idea, the most challenging and insular job in the world brought to life by a talented writer in their prime with assistance from one of the few who know it firsthand. Bummed that this wasn't it.

great book & narrated well submitted by JulieCraig on December 1, 2018, 5:36am I found this book very interesting. Bill Clinton and James Patterson have a good collaboration in the writing, and the narrators help bring the words to life. It was believable and engaging. The President takes a big risk meeting "Augie", based on a message given to him by the President's daughter. He is also trying to do his work with a rare blood disease. I thought it was a great book.
