The characters are diverse and the show sometimes focuses on current issues, excellently walking the line between respectful and funny. The whole cast is great, but Andre Braugher is a national treasure and a comedic genius and it is a CRIME he hasn't won all the awards for this role. Still one of my favs!

I was late to the party, but glad I’m here now! submitted by lilymctaggart on June 19, 2025, 6:17am I was years late to Brooklyn Nine Nine because I didn’t think I’d like it - I wish I had given it a try earlier! The characters are hilarious and well-cast and the story moves along because it’s a sitcom. Definitely worth a watch!
