Amazing submitted by RowPio on June 24, 2019, 5:23pm I absolutely loved this book. It is what I call a "chicken noodle soup" book. When I read it I felt like the words were a warm blanket and the way they flew was poetic. Cisneros really captured her neighborhood through her short stories and some of the stories are a little chilling as they show the horrors of our society in a blunt factual way. I definitely recommend this book!

Mango submitted by tbbrown76 on July 2, 2020, 1:02pm A simple book that is at the same time quite deep. The imagery is wonderful. A quick read. Recommended.
