Pop Genre Fusion submitted by Meginator on June 12, 2021, 9:39am This double album continues the group’s quick ascent to the top of the global pop scene. The music itself draws heavily from modern r&b, with a lot of electronic elements in the backing tracks and a few hints here and there of classic 90s/00s boy-band pop. The songs use a mix of Korean, Japanese, and English lyrics to good effect, with huge hooks that make each track memorable. I really enjoy the mix of styles and tones on this album, you never know what’s coming next but it’s definitely going to be catchy.
