A true gift to be able to check this out. submitted by lmangus on August 16, 2020, 6:46pm Such joy in our home, to be able to strum on an authentic Les Paul, and feel and hear the difference. Had a real impact...wee hours of the morning, and people are still working out notes/chords. So grateful.

Cons - the action is so high that I worry that beginning players may find it so uncomfortable that they think guitar-playing is too difficult. Also, it is hard to keep this guitar in tune; the intonation must be off.

a bit worn out when I had it, but I believe it's being fixed submitted by lisa on July 9, 2022, 12:16pm The switch between the trebly and bassy pick-ups (I don't know terminology for these things) seemed partly disconnected when I had the guitar out in early 2022. I reported it as I turned it in, though, and would bet they've fixed it up before re-releasing it. Considering how many of us have taken a turn or two with this instrument, it's doing pretty well.

Very comfortable to hold.
