Know Your History submitted by howarde on August 8, 2019, 1:08pm This is an excellent history of the movement for LGBTQ rights/liberation. Reimer and Brown include photos and stories that tell a both in-depth and broad story of the movement that recognizes the centrality of trans people and people of color, who are often left out of mainstream accounts. The photos are wonderful—many are intimate snapshots that give a well-rounded view of queer community in the 20th century.
