Engaging, Expansive Instrumentals submitted by Meginator on July 20, 2019, 11:32am These compositions are more than the sum of their parts, constructed primarily of guitars and piano that combine to create a proto-New Age vibe that still feels anchored in 1960s-1970s pop rock. The album is accessible yet invites introspection, and each track gently unfolds into increased complexity and an expansive scope built from fairly basic components. The end result is entrancing without being demanding, entertaining yet not without musical depth, and richly rewarding.
