From the New York Times bestselling author of The Unhoneymooners and the "delectable, moving" (Entertainment Weekly) My Favorite Half-Night Stand comes a modern love story about what happens when your first love reenters your life when you least expect it... Sam Brandis was Tate Jones's first: Her first love. Her first everything. Including her first heartbreak. During a whirlwind two-week vacation abroad, Sam and Tate fell for each other in only the way that first loves do: sharing all of their hopes, dreams, and deepest secrets along the way. Sam was the first, and only, person that Tate--the long-lost daughter of one of the world's biggest film stars--ever revealed her identity to. So when it became clear her trust was misplaced, her world shattered for good. Fourteen years later, Tate, now an up-and-coming actress, only thinks about her first love every once in a blue moon. When she steps onto the set of her first big break, he's the last person she expects to see. Yet here Sam is, the same charming, confident man she knew, but even more alluring than she remembered. Forced to confront the man who betrayed her, Tate must ask herself if it's possible to do the wrong thing for the right reason... and whether "once in a lifetime" can come around twice. With Christina Lauren's signature "beautifully written and remarkably compelling" (Sarah J. Maas, New York Times bestselling author) prose and perfect for fans of Emily Giffin and Jennifer Weiner, Twice in a Blue Moon is an unforgettable and moving novel of young love and second chances.

Lacking the Narrative Charm submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on June 20, 2020, 11:54pm The book absolutely lived up to its expectations. I totally loved the narration and the story. It was a exceptional love story and about second chances. Reading the blurb made me think that it is absurd to give a second chance in love but reading the novel proved me wrong. We follow the love story of a timid teenager to the story of a Hollywood actress. My #1 discontent: connecting with the characters

Enjoyable submitted by pamhockey25 on July 2, 2020, 7:26pm Tate and Sam meet in London and it changes the course of both of their lives. They meet during a two week vacation and 14 years later they meet again under much different circumstances. Will they get a second shot at love? Read this book to find out.

Light, but in a good way submitted by Zekicmom on August 6, 2020, 2:13pm This was a perfect summer read. Quick to get into, semi-predictable but not so much so as to ruin the story, just enough to keep you reading to be proven right. In addition to the love story, it was also a fun peak behind the scenes of a movie shoot, even if I have no idea if that part was acurate.

not their best, but still sweet submitted by apknapp on August 13, 2020, 9:56am Odd blend of YA and adult romance--the story starts when the characters are teenagers and picks up again 14 years later. Not Christina Lauren's best work, the characters didn't grab me the way theirs usually do and the YA feel persisted throughout, but still really solid writing and a sweet story.
