The Asian strict parent stereotype is definitely there... submitted by quynhssong on August 28, 2022, 2:33pm I mean, it does has some stereotypes, but it's still sooo good. The dad makes up in the end, too.

A great story of friendship and life challenges submitted by Margaret on July 26, 2023, 8:55pm Jen Wang has done it again. Her work never ceases to amaze. This is a great story between two young girls dealing with their own struggles of life. It’s great for kids in middle school and adults too. I highly recommend this book. The colors and drawings are beautiful. If you haven’t read Stargazing, please do. It’s worth your time.

Wonderful submitted by cdeucher on July 28, 2023, 7:47am Jen Wang is great. This story of two girls who couldn't be more different find their way to a meaningful friendship. This is a great slice of middle school life that many kids will relate to.
