great read for teens submitted by Princess Cimorene on July 21, 2020, 1:14am I saw the author speak about this book at Nicola's, and she did a great job explaining why this story meant so much to her. As a Black woman living in a white world, she wanted more Wakanda in her life. This book is about a high school girl who creates her own Wakanda in a video game that becomes a refuge for thousands of people. I won't give anything away, but things get complicated and the protagonist does a great job dealing with the conflict. Overall I think it's a great read for teens.
