We need to change the system! submitted by flemingj on July 21, 2020, 10:13am This book will open your eyes to incarceration from a really different perspective. Folks wrapped up in the system can be innocent and they have families that love them and want, need help getting justice.

Powerful Story submitted by Beth Manuel on July 8, 2021, 5:37pm This was a great story that shed light on what it's like for families of incarcerated people. The protagonist, Zoe, was a delightful character who tried to navigate her way in an attempt to help her wrongly imprisoned Bio Dad. It was one of the first YA books I've seen that tackles the topic of mass incarceration. The characters had some depth to them that you don't always see, either.
