Synthesis Playground submitted by soosmar on August 23, 2022, 3:03pm If you can get your hands on one (everyone wants to check this thing out), they're an amazing tool for learning about subtractive synthesis. The synth is split up into "modules" which can be patched together in order to create some amazing sounds. You can get lost for hours just creating sounds without even thinking about the musical potential. Once you've gotten a feel for the device, you can even expand its capabilities by patching it with other synthesizers and audio equipment. That's not even mentioning the great build quality and distinctive Moog sound.
