Anti-Racist Workbook submitted by sdunav on July 12, 2020, 3:58pm Enlightening look at how to become anti-racist from a Muslim woman who grew up in the UK and lives in Qatar. The book is based on an Instagram challenge involving journaling, so it's format is basically like a workbook.

I liked the non-American-centric perspective, but the religious/spiritual aspects of the book didn't appeal to me. Your mileage may vary. It's still worth reading, and I enjoyed her unapologetic writing style and refusal to pander to the Nice White Ladies (like me!) of the internet.

Necessary read for everyone! submitted by alisonhatch94 on July 22, 2020, 10:22am This is such a good read for anyone looking to become more anti-racist. She talks about so many different issues when it comes to racism and so much of it I had never thought about before. It's written like a workbook and meant for you to write down answers to her questions, which I found super helpful in identifying these problems in myself. Such an important work and I'd recommend it to everyone.

Great book for a group submitted by avandeusen on July 17, 2021, 11:42am Went through this book with some friends so that we could reflect on the themes written and it was very effective. Also, I recommend keeping a journal as you read - really helps with personal reflection.
