Sophisticated submitted by saleder on July 23, 2019, 12:24pm I recently re-read The House at Pooh Corner after listening to an episode of the podcast "Every Little Thing" entitled "How Old is Winnie the Pooh?" While Disney has taken the characters and some of the story lines and created a charming franchise for kids of all ages, the book, as written, includes sophisticated language and writing which may be more appreciated by older readers.

Wonderful first chapter book submitted by segolden on July 6, 2021, 9:59pm My preschooler has enjoyed watching the Disney versions, and we have begun to read chapters from the Pooh books for a bedtime story. I think the fact that the characters and setting are already familiar are helping transition to him being able to pay attention to long blocks of text without many pictures.

Also, this book is where we meet Tigger, who is definitely a star around our house.
