Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani, and Jason are four cosmically bound friends in the fight for their eternity, alongside their former torturer, Michael. Michael, in a fit of panic, had relinquished his role as the Architect to Eleanor, so that she and the gang could help four new residents become better people. Unfortunately, the Bad Place doesn't exactly make their task easy, and its latest move places Chidi in a dire situation, putting his relationship with Eleanor and the others in jeopardy.

Wonderful end to wonderful series submitted by Zekicmom on August 15, 2020, 9:26pm I absolutely love this show, and didn't know how they could possibly end it in a satisfying way. Somehow, they pulled it off. A great comedy, but I admit to shedding many tears. Do not watch this season without having seen seasons 1-4 in order, starting at the begining.

The character development was exceptional, making us truly care about their journeys. While the series finale was bittersweet, it provided closure and stayed true to its core message. The blend of humor, heart, and thought-provoking concepts made this season a perfect conclusion to an outstanding series, leaving me with a sense of profound satisfaction despite the sadness of bidding farewell to these beloved characters."
