So good! submitted by Xris on December 26, 2021, 12:25pm I was glad to find out that this book is the first in a trilogy. I can't wait for the next one to come out in August 2022! I want the library to get it, so I can put a hold on it!!
I saw a lot of parallels/nods to the Harry Potter series, but set in modern times with technology along side the magic. I love Amari, that she's bringing the black girl magic to life, and fighting for her place in the supernatural world!
