Pandemic-Inspired Introspection submitted by Meginator on August 11, 2021, 5:31pm This album feels like an album made during quarantine, being very introspective both musically and lyrically. The overall vibe calls back to Swift’s roots in country music, though her approach is filtered through a folk-pop lens that softens the twang and provides a gentle, smooth feeling from track to track. She’s an excellent, yet still underrated, songwriter, and this album should win over any holdouts who aren’t convinced of her sheer talent. She keeps evolving and she keeps getting better with each evolution.

Powerful Songwriting submitted by krogers on July 20, 2023, 5:58pm When I listen to music, I normally pay at least as much attention to the instrumentation as the lyrics, and the overall musicality is usually what moves me. But with this album, I was so engrossed in the lyrics and vocal delivery that I was hardly aware of the instruments. This album really does showcase powerful songwriting to go along with an amazing voice.
