COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Oscar worthy film full of love and hope! submitted by yufamily on June 22, 2021, 10:30pm I loved this movie and David is just so adorable. A must see!

a bit underwhelming submitted by wendylv on July 24, 2021, 3:48pm The performances are outstanding (especially David and Grandma) but the pace of the movie was just a little too slow. And the title is "Minari" but the role of the minari plant seemed completely inconsequential. I think there were many beautiful bits in the movie, but the whole just didn't gel together.

A Downer submitted by saleder on June 17, 2022, 3:31pm Despite great performances, this movie was overall depressing and dark. The father couldn't catch a break is his quest to grow Korean vegetables, and wound up depleting the family resources in a desperate bid to succeed, only to watch it all burn down. It was disjointed and overall a bummer.

Stunning submitted by ctconley on August 4, 2022, 3:44pm Very sweet, very heartbreaking, I really enjoyed the tensions and the realistic drama.

what even submitted by 21621033457308 on May 31, 2023, 9:49pm Thought this was going to be a cute family story, turned out so gross and disturbing I had to turn it off.
