Dear Diary, My Teenage Angst Has a Soundtrack submitted by mgnlws on June 16, 2021, 10:45am With its sweet melodies and bitter moods, Sour is one of the most gratifying break-up albums I've heard in years, intimately tapping into universal feelings of first love, heartbreak, betrayal, and all the roller coaster emotion of relationships. A wonderfully impressive debut album from Rodrigo I'll be jamming to all summer.

Breakup Album submitted by Meginator on August 21, 2021, 11:38am This is a breakup album for the ages. Full of teenage angst and drizzled with moments of surprising maturity, these tracks embody what it feels like to be on the bad end of a breakup, from the anger and sadness to fleeting glances of eventual acceptance. Musically, Rodrigo draws from a huge range of resources, and though most of the tracks are downtempo the first one is right out of the riot grrrl scene and sets the emotional (if not sonic) tone for the rest of the songs. I haven’t been through a breakup in a long time, but I found myself really enjoying these songs and I can’t wait to see where Rodrigo takes her prodigious talents next.

SOUR submitted by crayon on July 8, 2024, 9:46pm "SOUR" by Olivia Rodrigo is like a rollercoaster of emotions packed into an album. It's raw, relatable, and hits you right in the feels. From heartbreak anthems to moments of empowerment, Olivia nails it with her lyrics and that killer voice of hers. It's basically the soundtrack for anyone going through some serious stuff. Plus, you can't help but sing along to every track, even if it makes you a bit emotional. Overall, it's a solid debut that proves Olivia Rodrigo is here to stay.
