Great! submitted by Xris on August 3, 2022, 12:18pm I love how they describe how Ari feels when the pronouns don't fit right. I'd like to show this book to my GSA this year, so I'll have to check it out again. But happy to see other people want to read this book too!
A Pronoun Primer in Story Form submitted by Meginator on August 27, 2022, 6:05pm This book explores the vast world of pronouns and personal identity as it follows a young nonbinary person as they search for the words that feel right to them. The book works both as a gentle introduction to the subject and as a story, expanding the concept of “your words” to include adjectives that have nothing to do with gender and thus making gender simply one component of someone’s broader identity. Colorful and inclusive, this book will help readers of all ages better understand why pronouns are important, how they can change, and how they are a fundamental part of what makes us “us”.
