Super Falsetto submitted by Meginator on August 1, 2022, 3:30pm This album is neither as prog or as metal as its cover suggests, but the band’s brand of alt-rock is enjoyable enough if you are a fan of the frequent use of screamed falsetto vocals. I feel like the band relies too much on the falsetto sound, which dampens and dilutes the effect even when it is actually useful, and it comes to feel almost like a gimmick where their talent alone should be enough to carry the day. But at the end of the day this is still a solid modern rock album, just not one I’m particularly eager to revisit.
