Okay submitted by russelan on June 20, 2022, 8:18pm Sometimes I think I'm extra critical or extra generous t authors I "know" outside their books. In this case, I've been a listener to Kate's podcast, Forever35, for a few years, and I've really enjoyed her on the podcast. However, this is a case where I felt myself being a little overly critical. Ultimately, I think it was a perfectly fine book. I liked both Franny and Hayes but didn't feel like they were as fully fleshed out, more like they each had a few distinct quirks.
