Excellent book for children! submitted by ValerieL on June 24, 2022, 1:51pm This book is a great way to introduce the concept of Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) to children. It speaks of a blanket that gets torn apart and how it has different jobs and then comes back together, changed, but yet, still the same. The same thing happens when someone develops DID. They split, each one has a different job, and then as healing comes, they come back together.

While this may seem like a heavy topic for children, DID is not as rare as it was thought to be. This is a good way to help explain it if one has relatives or friends with this amazing coping technique.
