Amazing update to a great album submitted by ewraback on July 14, 2023, 8:01pm Like the title says, it is an amazing update to an already great album. I loved hearing how her vocals have matured in all my favorite songs. All her Taylor's Version songs are really great as well. However, I will say that the TV songs are a slightly different vibe to the rest of the album. I am unsure if that has to do with nostalgia or anything.

taylor's song writing skills are better than most artists are she was only 19 when she wrote this. It's been wonderful watching her grow up and her singing and song writing skills inprove as well. listening to it right now actually!

Some Nice Updated Arrangements; Worth Revisiting submitted by Meginator on August 24, 2025, 10:06pm This is a re-recording of the album that marked Taylor Swift’s transition from country pop to mainstream pop, and it’s really interesting to hear her revisit these songs with a slightly different musical perspective. While these versions generally remain faithful to the originals (which is the point), some of the musical arrangements have noticeable differences and the hints of twang in Swift’s voice are fewer and further between given that it has largely disappeared from her more recent singing style. The production is a bit less glittery, too, as Swift’s songwriting and performing talents take center stage and allow her to dig deeper into some of the raw emotions behind the lyrics. This was an excellent album the first time around, so it’s no surprise that it’s also excellent upon revisiting, with a few new songs thrown in for good measure.
