Truly a pleasure to read submitted by skyelermcq on July 7, 2024, 11:09pm THIS BOOK IS EVERYTHING!! This might possibly be my most favorite book of the year so far. It touched my heart and warmed my soul. All we want is to be loved!!! And own a tea shop that’s also a book store!! And eat baked goods!! In an adorable town where neighbors help eachother!!

This book embodies the cozy fantasy genre and is everything I’ve ever wanted in a cozy fantasy. The magic system and world politics is well thought out and interesting, the romance is perfect, the flaws of the characters hit so close to home, and it’s the perfect happy ending. I love the hints to future novels and potential intrigue — I know I’ll be reading more by Thorne! Can’t Spell Treason without Tea was such a pleasure to read, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
