Really enjoying this book, but some ingredients are hard to find submitted by pinkflamingo on June 14, 2024, 9:19pm I was really excited to leaf through this book, and am considering buying a copy, but the ingredients are occasionally hard-to-source items, which isn't really the case in Bakehouse's first cookbook. Coconut paste for the summer fling coffee cake, long pepper for gingerbread, etc.

Great pictures, great ideas! submitted by nrtucker2 on July 28, 2024, 9:08pm This book has a good variety of recipes for the novice with limited time to a more experienced baker. The banana bread recipe is very simple and delicious—I’ve made it several times and it comes out great each time (and does taste like Zingerman’s banana bread!). There are several recipes too complicated for me, but I also just enjoy looking at the pictures.
