Funny and smart submitted by magg2185 on June 25, 2024, 8:57am I love Kiley Reid. I might be in the minority here, but I enjoyed this even more than Such a Fun Age. An interesting look at how money affects different people in a college dorm. Lots of drama, insightful, and funny.

My name is… and I loved this book submitted by khrobinson on June 25, 2024, 10:50pm This book is generally about college life at the University of Arkansas, which isn’t a topic I was necessarily looking to read about, but it was such a good read. Often, I would pause and notice a turn of phrase that was just so delightful. I devoured this book and enjoyed the process of doing so. Money, privilege, ethics, young adult female friendships, and intersections with race and sexual identity, this book was outlandish and totally real at once. You definitely need to come and get it!

Wonderful submitted by berkleya on June 15, 2025, 8:24am Another page turner, not quite as much as such a fun age, but I loved the deep look into the lives of young college women, especially around money and class issues.

Speaking up versus keeping quiet submitted by mecunningham on July 6, 2025, 4:14pm This is a book about talking and listening and eavesdropping and remaining silent—the moments when we speak up or don’t say anything, intervening to make things happen or keeping quiet to let events play out. It’s not always easy to read: Agatha and Millie can both be awkward and cringe-inducing, and I as a reader could see the consequences of their poor choices coming from miles away, even though they couldn’t. Come and Get It isn’t a novel that offers escape; it’s complicated and textured and messy and full of mistakes … just like real life.
