Riveting political suspense submitted by mowjac on August 19, 2024, 10:26am This prequel to the movie Rogue One is a multilayered complex story of intergalactic politics that never loses sight of what those politics mean for the ordinary person. Writer/director Gilroy weaves multiple storylines to talk about power—personal & political—and the consequences of our choices. Each 3 episode arc is complete and builds toward a greater whole. Good for those who like political thrillers and, obviously, Star Wars fans.

Amazing submitted by amanda.erwin on July 6, 2025, 2:02pm Andor is an excellent TV series that highlights the effects of Imperial oppression on individuals throughout the galaxy. The character development for both Rebels and ISS alike was captivating. The production quality and acting was excellent. This was truly well done, and to me, was the best Star Wars production so far.

One of the best TV shows I've watched submitted by shreyasunshine on July 8, 2025, 3:27pm This is the first piece of Star Wars media I've watched (though obviously I'm familiar with a lot of the lore) and I would say Andor is easily one of the best TV shows I've watched. High production quality, masterful performances (especially from Diego Luna!). It blends the personal and political in a fascinating way through rich characterizations of both Rebels and Imperial soldiers/insiders. Such a compelling story about fascism and the necessity of rebellion, by any means necessary, against it.

Even if you are not into Star Wars submitted by EJZ on August 6, 2025, 7:41am If you don't love SW, or perhaps especially if you don't know or love SW, Andor is just the perfect bit of miniseries. Obviously there is a lot to love for fans of the universe, but this show is so gripping, so perfectly told, and the acting is so good that it rates as one of the best pieces of television to come out in recent memory regardless of your priors.
