Continued to keep me engaged, really enjoyed submitted by samanthaschmitt on July 12, 2025, 8:09pm In the beginning, I felt like it was a bit too chaotic and always “blaming the birds”. At the end, I really gained an appreciation for all of the different perspectives and the short chapters for each person, making it very easy to keep reading. I also appreciated the way the author wove together the story, plot line, and complexity of the characters (and how they connected in the past and present). I didn’t expect a lot of the connection and thought the book was overall well thought out and written.

Very skillfully told submitted by majean on July 31, 2025, 4:26pm Foley did a great job of giving each character their own distinct voice. I did figure out the mystery (it's not where the narrative seems to be taking you, so keep reading), but not immediately, and there were enough fun bits that I hadn't quite foreseen to be entertaining until the end.
